AICUM works with state legislators, federal legislators and government agencies at all levels to help support and frame policies, regulations and legislation. Helping students advocate for increased need-based financial aid at the State House is just one example of this work.  Richard Doherty, AICUM President, and Rob McCarron, Vice President, testify regularly before various Massachusetts Senate and House  committees to raise awareness on particular issues and to register support or opposition (on behalf of AICUM members) to specific legislation.  The list below provides links to all recent Massachusetts testimony.
