Re: September 30th Webinar: Preparations and Considerations for Student Voting in the Upcoming Election

As the country prepares to cast ballots in the upcoming 2020 national election, it is imperative that colleges and universities prepare now to facilitate student voting opportunities and anticipate certain challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. AICUM is pleased to host a webinar, in partnership with the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University, that will provide an overview on the key preparations and considerations that colleges and universities should be addressing now in anticipation of November 3rd.

In particular, the webinar will focus on:

• What actions should college and universities be taking now to help students safely vote in the upcoming election;
• Prepare for registration and voting deadlines in students home states; and
• Anticipate any challenges that the pandemic may present to voting by mail from your campus.

This important briefing by Dean Alan Solomont and his team at the Tisch College of Civic Life will be presented as a webinar from 2:00 – 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 30th. Please see below for Zoom registration information.
